Little did I know, four days ago when I wrote my Is, ought... post, what I was unleashing. Dr C has written a response, A small agenda, which I recommend reading. My own musings pale into insignificance ... and he was overwhelmed?? Sheesh...
One immediate thought, regarding his item 3: that a tribal system of oral history and a Googlised internet are both points on the same continuum, albeit separated by an arc of accelerating complexity curve.
Items 4 and 5, now, are a different matter. Molecular neurophysiology is way outside my competence, but the view from my layman's balcony is amazing...
