I always admire and envy the ability to draw quickly and transparently.
Today's post, "Students and model", by Andy Gray at PencilPad, makes me positively green. Look at the image, then zoom in for a close look at any one of those sketchers.
Take that middle one, for instance - the second figure from the right hand edge, the one in glasses. But what glasses? Look closely, and the glasses are just two lines, two strokes of the pencil. Then there's that quick and apparently careless scribble behind the head which suggests so much.
It makes me all goosebumpy ... I so wish that I had that skill.
