Whatever you may think, I am
not diverging here from my "no comment" policy on the US presidential election. This is a photography post, not a political one. In my heavily cropped section of a photograph by Alex Wong (taken at a G7 outing, syndicated by Getty and published in today's
Independent on Sunday), forget George Bush. Look, instead, at the expressions of the two faces just behind him on either side. (Click the image if you want to enlarge it.) Photography has, on occasion, a tremendous potential for accidental humour. People like Elliot Erwitt used it deliberately; I suspect that Alex Wong had no such intention – but it cracked me up anyway.
